After you perform a search, the available cross filters (which are also relevant to your research and the content returned) are listed in the "Narrow Your Results" menu on the left-hand pane of IntelliConnect.
TIP! After performing a search, you can use cross filters to quickly filter your results by document type, tax type, library menu level, and jurisdiction (depending on your subscription).
The cross filter you selected first to narrow your results after your previous search is the cross filter that is shown open and expanded after you perform your latest search.
With search results displayed on your screen, click the "+" and "-" icons to expand and collapse the cross filter menus and associated sub-menus.
Continue to expand and collapse menu items until you find the specific cross filter you want to apply to your search results.
TIP! The number of documents available in each cross filter category and sub-category is shown in brackets to the right of the specific filter.
After you locate the cross filter you want to apply to your search results, click the title of the cross filter.
Once you select a cross filter to apply to your search results, your results are updated, and the name of the specific cross filter you just applied is shown above the search results list (along with other cross filters you may have already applied to your search results).
Click the Remove Selection icon
located to the left of the cross filter you want to remove.
Your search results are updated based on the removal of that specific cross filter.
TIP! You can quickly remove all cross filters you have applied by clicking the Clear all selected filters link located above the search results list.
